Treating the family to a Christmas to remember, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were spotted out at Disney’s California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California.

The “El Cantante” couple made their way around the popular vacation spot on Christmas Eve - joined by children Cristian, Ryan, Max and Emme, as well as Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe Lopez, and sister, Linda Lopez.

Not stopping at just one day, the happy family made a return visit to the California Adventure park on Christmas Day.

With J. Lo’s best friend, actress Leah Remini, along for the outing, the group spent time on the “it’s a small world Holiday” ride -which adds “Christmas traditions from around the world to it’s small figures and over 300,000 lights to its façade” during the holiday season.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie felt the spirit of giving this holiday season.

The famously generous couple donated $100,000 to the American SOS Children's Villages, an alternative foster care organization with locations in the U.S. in Illinois and Florida.

"We have seen firsthand the remarkable job SOS does to raised orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together," Jolie, 34, said in a statement. "No one "ages out" of an SOS Village. Vocational training, advanced education, living assistance and more support are there forever."

Heather Paul, CEO of SOS Children's Villages USA, thanked the Jolie-Pitts for their generosity and said they were longtime supporters of the organization. "We are deeply grateful that this year they have included in their generosity our villages in Illinois and Florida and our 300 children who call SOS 'home,' " she said in a statement. "In this holiday season, many of us take for granted that we are surrounded by loving family members. The poor outcomes for foster children indicate that we must do a much better job of supporting them."

SOS Children’s Villages is the largest nonprofit organization in the world solely dedicated to orphaned and abandoned children. There are 500 villages in 132 countries. – Mary Green

Avatar on DVD (and 3D DVD)

  • Dec. 26th, 2009 at 1:27 PM

If you'd like your own personal copy of AVATAR, hang on until late spring/summer 2010, when James Cameron says a 2-D version of the movie should come out, complete with deleted scenes of Na'vi tribal life. But how about a 3-D version? First there have to be enough Blu-ray DVD players in circulation, which is tricky considering that Blu-ray 3D specifications were just finalized (see here for the full story on those specs). But Avatar may actually drive the 3-D trend, so look for the first 3-D players to premiere at the January Consumer Electronics Show and a 3-D Avatar release by the end of 2010.

Idk, seems kinda long to have to wait for Blu-Ray, but I'm just in it to get it on 2D at least.

How Janice Dickinson makes money these days

  • Dec. 26th, 2009 at 12:48 PM

Former supermodel Janice Dickinson leaves Barney's looking very happy with her new boyfriend, Alex, who she was proud to tell everyone is a fire-fighter. She had a small jewelry bag from Barney's which Alex had given her, to which she showed her appreciation with a very public (and gross) show of affection. She kissed him and then let him suck her tongue. After that, the two waited for the valet to bring their car, and while doing so, Janis grabbed her boyfriends backside and jokingly simulated oral copulation with him, which he gave her 3 dollars for.

Stuntastic Director Hero In Terrorist Plane Plot

Dutch film director Jasper Schuringa wasn’t having it when Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab tried to blow up Delta/Northwest Flight 253 as the flight prepared to land in Detroit Friday.

“Suddenly, we hear a bang. It sounded like a firecracker went off,” said Jasper Schuringa, a film director who was traveling to the US to visit friends.

“When [it] went off, everybody panicked … Then someone screamed, ‘Fire! Fire!’”

Schuringa, sitting in seat 20J, in the right-most section of the Airbus 330, looked to his left. “I saw smoke rising from a seat … I didn’t hesitate. I just jumped,” he said.

Schuringa dove over four passengers to reach Abdul Mutallab’s seat. The suspect had a blanket on his lap.

“It was smoking and there were flames coming from beneath his legs.”

“I searched on his body parts and he had his pants open. He had something strapped to his legs.”

The unassuming hero ripped the flaming, molten object — which resembled a small, white shampoo bottle — off Abdul Mutallab’s left leg, near his crotch. He said he put out the fire with his bare hands.

Schuringa yelled for water, and members of the flight crew soon appeared with fire extinguishers. Then, he said, he hauled the suspect out of the seat.

“I took him in a choke to the first class and all the people were like, ‘What’s going on?!”

“I don’t feel like a hero,” Schuringa told the Post as he recuperated with pals. “It was something that came completely natural … It was something where I had to do something or it was too late.”

Kudos to the hero. If his directing career ever slows down he can pick up some checks as a stunt man.

Venturing out for an evening of fun, John Mayer was spotted strolling around West Hollywood last night (December 22). The “Bigger Than My Body” singer was amicable with the shutterbugs, as usual, sporting a black leather jacket with black trousers and black sneakers.

An avid fan of film, Mr. Mayer recently caught a screening of the new sci-fi phenomenon “Avatar” and it sounds like he approved. Joking with his Twitter followers, John tweeted, “I will take a crack at Avatar again, this time with good old fashioned peyote.”

Most compelling part of Avatar? The man next to me at the urinal who pulled his pants and boxers down to his knees. Alien indeed. )

Robert Pattinson Replaces Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 4

The news dropped like a bombshell early this morning that Sony Pictures has signed Robert Pattinson (Twilight) to replace Tobey Maguire in the titular role in Spider-Man 4.

In the official press release, Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman of Sony Pictures and Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, announced that Pattinson would not only be assuming the role of Peter Parker and his alter-ego, Spider-Man, in Spider-Man 4, but also in Spider-Man 5 and in a spin-off film to be announced at a later date.

AOL Moviefone has released a list detailing what they believe are the best films of the decade, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban takes 10th place:

Of the movie itself they are quoted as stating that -

" During his third year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) learns that Lord Voldemort's acolyte Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped Azkaban prison with an eye toward making Harry's "Boy That Lived" moniker an overstatement. No worries, Harry's friends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermoine Granger (Emma Watson) are on hand to help him sort out the shifting allegiances -- and shapes! -- in a tale where nothing is as it seems. Darker than the first two Potter films, to legions of fans the third installment of J.K. Rowlings' juggernaut may or may not be the best of the bunch; but, really, what Muggle wouldn't enjoy this."

Doctor Who: The End of Time – the verdict

  • Dec. 26th, 2009 at 11:51 AM
There's little room for Christmas jollity when you have several series' worth of stories to complete. So how did the Doctor do?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This year's Christmas Doctor Who was never going to pause and sniff the mulled wine. There are stories that need completing, fireworks to set up; the End of Time means No End of Plot. We've had the Ood – I find them harder to take seriously since seeing the cover of Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, but maybe that's just me – prophesying doom. We've had a ghostly Claire Bloom talking in riddles to Bernard Cribbins. We've had the Doctor facing up to death with enough fear in his eyes to make you almost forget about them filming his next incarnation. We've had one very sinister close-up of Timothy Dalton. Most of all, we've had John Simm's Master, brought most of the way back to life with unpredictable new powers and an appetite that has him more or less literally chewing the scenery. And that's before he turns every human on Earth into a copy of himself. It's been a rush.
